GATE is an online Examination conducted across the country to test the candidate in various undergraduate subjects of engineering and technology or Architecture and post graduate subject of sciences. This exam is gateway to secure admission in post graduate programs likes M.Tech, M.E, M.S and PhD. The candidate directly admitted into a course based on his performance in GATE and an interview conducted by the department. For the post graduate programs the minimum 70% weighted given to the GATE score and 30% given to the candidate performance in interview or academic record.
Things you should Know :-
- It is an exam for post graduate in all engineering Disciplines.
- You can get admission in PSU's and IIT's, NIT's.
- Getting 65 marks will lead you under 500 rank.
- Final year student or who passed the exam can apply.
- 65 Question and 100 Marks.
- Mathematics cover 15 marks for all discipline subjects.
- 3 Hours timing
- 1/3 Negative marking.
- 10 Question on general Aptitude .
